This role will perform part time driver and part time activities assistant equalling a full time position

Delaney at Parkway Lakes is recruiting for a hospitality focused part time Driver/part time Activities Assistant to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

PRN Hours Monday-Friday 8-5 pm

Starting pay $17.00/ hour

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

- Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
- Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
- Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
- Clean and wash vehicle.
- May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
- Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

- High school diploma or GED required
- Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred
- The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
- Assisted Living Activities: 1 year (Required)
- Driver's License (Required) with good driving record
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
