## Our Team, Your Impact
The project manager of the Global Strategy & Planning (S&P) Team plays a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Global Internal Audit S&P in managing audit systems and enhancing business intelligence (BI) capabilities. This role focuses on optimizing audit tools, data governance, and leveraging BI and AI solutions to enable data-driven insights, improve operational performance, and ensure system functionality.
This is a fixed term contract role with 6 months duration.
## How You’ll Spend Your Day
System Management
- Assist in the end-to-end management of audit systems (e.g., TeamMate, SharePoint, Qlik Sense) throughout their lifecycle, including gathering requirements, system testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Support system configuration, upgrades, and change management processes in collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to users.
- Ensure the integration and optimization of systems to align with GIA’s operational and strategic needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, process flows, and governance frameworks.
- Facilitate end-user training to ensure effective adoption and utilization of audit tools.
Business Intelligence (BI) Development
- Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools like Qlik Sense and Power BI to provide actionable insights into audit processes, outcomes, resource utilization, budgets, and timelines.
- Manage data integration processes of various data sources into the BI system to ensure seamless data flow and consistency.
- Automate data workflows and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Support the implementation of BI governance processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Train and support students on developing BI tools and systems.
Operational and Analytical Support
- Collect, clean, and analyze system and BI data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, while supporting data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on the audit performance (including auditor utilization, audit hours, action plans status etc.)
Monitoring and Quality Assurance (QA) Support
- Assist in the development and implementation of QA reviews to ensure compliance with IIA standards and GIA policies.
- Support monitoring processes, including audit planning, execution, reporting, and tracking AOP status, resource utilization, audit hours, and timelines.
- Collaborate with managers to ensure accurate data collection, reporting consistency, and process transparency.
- Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools to provide visibility into key metrics related to audit quality, resource allocation, and timelines
Stakeholder Communication Support
- Assist in preparing the communication to senior leadership, executive management, the CEO, and the audit committee, ensuring clear updates on audit progress, risks and insights.
Technology Innovation
- Explore the options of using AI tools in the unit processes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
- Writing and refining AI prompts for audit, analytics, and reporting use cases.
- Supporting AI‑enabled automation or agent‑based workflows.
## Your Skills and Experience
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Self driven, proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills, including advanced use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data accurately and efficiently
- Exposure to AI tools, including: Writing effective prompts for AI / copilots
- Working with AI‑based agents or automation workflows
- Fluent written and spoken English, including ability to draft professional documents
- Advantages (Nice to Have)
• Experience with data analytics, automation, or reporting tools
• Familiarity with advanced information systems (ERP, GRC, BI tools, etc.)
• Experience working in a large, global organization, preferably in pharma, life sciences, or manufacturing
