About this role
Motif is the first agent-native platform for building design.
We're looking for a highly technical, customer-facing Solutions Engineer to drive the initial implementation of Motif's Design product; getting in the room with customers and delivering a solution that works.
You have an architecture practice background and are customer-obsessed; you want to see your work land directly with customers and watch it change how they design.
This is not a remote role and will require your onsite presence 5 days per week.
What you'll do
- Drive the initial implementation of Motif's Design product with customers - from pilot to full adoption.
- Provide technical validation, product demos, custom architecture design, proof-of-concept design, deployment integration, conduct training.
- Create technical solutions to bridge Motif's technology and how customers actually design, day to day - find the best way to make it click.
- Obsess over real outcomes: daily active usage climbing and customers raving about us.
- Help build onboarding materials, training content, provide feedback and input to Product Management - whatever it takes to get customers ramped and increase adoption.
- Partner with Motif's Sales, Customer Success, Forward Deployed Engineers to make adoption smooth and successful.
- Not a work-from-home job - you'll split time between our Copenhagen shared office space and onsite with customers (think Oslo, London, and beyond), as needed
- Lots of face time with customers - expect around 50% travel, domestic and international.
What you bring
- 5+ years of relevant experience, with real time in an architecture practice.
- Computational design chops - Grasshopper, Python, Rhino - on actual professional projects, not side experiments.
- Prior experience in a technical, customer-facing role and owning outcomes. Shipping the technology isn't the finish line for you - adoption is.
- Consultative communication style - you listen and guide customers, you don't just present at them.
- You genuinely love technology; you use AI tools constantly and have actually built AI agents yourself - not just read about it.
It would be great if you had
- BIM and Revit experience, and general hands-on experience with Design Technology related software within the AEC Industry.
- A track record of moving adoption metrics like daily active usage — not just shipping the product and walking away.
