## Job Summary



To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Recycling & Materials Recovery Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain, the Recycling & Materials Recovery Manager role involves leading the overall strategy and execution of our by-products & R=recycling operations within a high-volume advanced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for managing the recovery, disposition, and commercialization of manufacturing by-products, while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, optimizing financial performance, and leading both operational and administrative teams.

What a typical day looks like:

- Lead daily By-Products & Recycling operations across the manufacturing campus.
- Coordinate and oversee external recycling and waste management suppliers for cardboard, plastics, metals, electronic scrap, solder waste, general waste, and other manufacturing by-products.
- Ensure efficient collection, segregation, storage, transportation, and disposition of materials.

- Partner with procurement to develop sourcing strategies, RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.
- Evaluate market conditions and validate pricing structures for recyclable materials and by-product recovery opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with recycling and waste management vendors to ensure service quality and cost competitiveness.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Track revenue generated from material recovery programs and monitor associated operating expenses.
- Reconcile supplier invoices, weight tickets, material transactions, and recovery revenues.
- Develop and present P&L analysis and financial performance reports to Finance and Operations leadership.
- Lead environmental inspections, regulatory visits, and corporate sustainability audits.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations, internal policies, and corporate requirements.
- Support sustainability goals through waste reduction, recycling optimization, and resource recovery initiatives.
- Lead and develop both administrative and operational personnel.
- Establish performance metrics and drive accountability across the function.
- Develop procedures, work instructions, and operational controls.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, process efficiency, compliance, and revenue enhancement.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- Full experience in recycling operations, waste management, environmental services, materials recovery, manufacturing operations, or related industries.
- Experience managing external vendors and service contracts.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

- P&L Management
- Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Automotive, Aerospace, or High-Tech Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with sustainability, circular economy, or ESG initiatives.
- Background in materials recovery, scrap management, or commodity recycling markets.
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.
