About this role

Job Summary:
Use analytical, marketing, and sales data to effectively estimate future product demands for a site. Ensure all demand planning activities/processes including developing forecast models are completed on time. Work closely with all relevant stakeholders to execute forecast adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop effective forecast models for a site based on industry trends, demand patterns and knowledge of business, customers, markets and products. Provide insight by comparing statistics-based forecast to consensus forecast. Support risk assessments and mitigation activities for a site. Provide Forecast Error assumptions to Inventory Optimization team and also provide / ensure alignment on demand assumptions into the plan. Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy for a site. Communicate forecast estimations to leadership and other stakeholders. Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies. Conduct monthly forecast maintenance for a site. Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner. Interpret, analyze and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators.

This role will be responsible for the planning activities for Specialty product lines at both Laurinburg and Oshkosh CDBS locations using software such as Blue Yonder, Oracle, & JDE.

Job Skills Required:

- Forecasting & Data Analysis - Ability to analyze historical sales, market trends, customer demand patterns, and statistical forecasts to create accurate demand plans. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Effectively partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, Operations, Finance, and key customers to gather insights and align on demand assumptions.
- Communication & Storytelling - Clearly communicate forecast changes, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Business Acumen - Understanding how demand impacts inventory, production, capacity, customer service, and financial results.

U.S. Early Careers Eligibility Requirements:

Exempt Entry Level: Designed for external candidates within 2 years of completing their highest level of degree (Bachelor, Master, PhD, MBA, or JD) from an accredited U.S. college/university, and currently reside within the continental U.S.

International Student Eligibility (U.S. based roles): F-1 visa students must have approved Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Occupational Practical Training (OPT) before their Early Career assignment begin. CPT/OPT must relate to their degree and be authorized by their university. Students are responsible for securing this approval through their school’s international office.
