What You'll Do

In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.

Join our manufacturing team and help build the advanced electronic, mechanical, and optical assemblies that power KLA-Filmetrics instruments. In this hands-on role, you'll follow documented instructions, complete assigned production work independently, troubleshoot basic issues, and ensure finished systems meet quality and shipment requirements.

Key Responsibilitie s

- Review assigned schedules, Work Orders, Sales Orders, and tasks in Click Up; verify materials and documentation before starting work.
- Build electronic, mechanical, and optical subassemblies, complete instruments, upgrades, and accessories using approved instructions and hand tools.
- Crimp, solder, assemble and install cables and harnesses; handle sensitive fibers and optical components; perform alignment and calibration as instructed.
- Follow all assembly documentation and obtain technician review or sign-off at required checkpoints.
- Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and optical troubleshooting; submit Production Tech Support and Non-Conformance requests when issues cannot be resolved.
- Accurately document material, build, alignment, technical, and work-instruction issues and track Work Order progress in Click Up.
- Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality, accuracy, schedule awareness, and an orderly work area.
- Collaborate with technicians, manufacturing engineers, inventory control, and team members; prepare completed products for review, certification, packaging, and shipment.

Preferred Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of manufacturing assembly experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to read and follow assembly documents, work instructions, and production requirements completely.
- Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, electronic, or optical components and using basic hand tools and computers.
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge with the ability to perform initial troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, communication, teamwork, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently, seek support when needed, and manage changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of electrostatic discharge practices for sensitive components.
- Four to six years of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Experience with optics, electro-optics, optical alignment, calibration, soldering, crimping, cable harnesses, or electronic test equipment.
- Experience supporting multiple products, configurations, options, or upgrades.
- Familiarity with Click Up or similar production-tracking systems and with documenting troubleshooting, Non-Conformance issues, or work-instruction updates.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new products and contribute effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing team.

Total Rewards
Base Pay Range: $21.64 - $32.00 Per Hour
Primary Location: USA-CA-San Diego-KLA
