We're looking for an Account Supervisor who lives and breathes social. This is a 100% social role focused on always-on organic. You'll be strategic and hands-on, autonomous, and deeply fluent in the social space, with a strong management sensibility and a commitment to delivering fantastic creative that stays on-objective and matches client challenges seamlessly. You'll work within an Integrated Account Team (IAT), partner closely with a dedicated Project Manager, and be comfortable working with people at all levels of our clients' organizations. You should be at ease with fast turnarounds, and with partnering closely with client counterparts to understand their marketing planning processes, offer strategic business POVs, and ensure deliverables and expectations are not only met but exceeded.
Role + Responsibilities:
- Serves as a senior day-to-day client contact, developing and cultivating strong relationships with the client team
- Operates autonomously, owning the day-to-day direction of the social business with minimal oversight
- Works within an Integrated Account Team, collaborating across strategy, design, analytics, and creative to deliver best-in-class social work
- Partners closely with a dedicated Project Manager, who handles day-to-day project management, timelines, and administrative systems, so you can focus on client strategy and creative quality
- Leads always-on organic social programming and management, including content planning, community, and channel strategy
- Travels to events, to some extent, to capture content and support real-time social moments
- Works with the team to deliver strategic business POVs that further the client's business
- Contributes to and sells strategic concepts, drives initiatives, and represents the team and the Agency's values
- Distills and interprets client feedback and communicates next steps and deliverables to the team in a timely manner
- Demonstrates micro and macro knowledge of the client's business through continuous research of the brand, its category, and competitors
- Maintains a finger on the pulse of the client's brand, social presence, platform changes, cultural trends, and emerging channels
- Balances short-term social deliverables with longer-term brand goals for social channels
- Helps develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insight and creative inspiration
- Ensures creative presentations to the client meet the highest professional standards, and presents with in-depth knowledge of why choices are being made
- Collaborates with all disciplines across the agency to produce work of creative excellence
- Works with Account leads to secure and drive new initiatives for clients
- Problem-solves day-to-day account issues as needed
- Reports into an Account Director and maintains constant communication on account status, managing both up and down
- Communicates the team's efforts internally and externally, and recognizes success within the team
Requirements
- 6+ years as a brand steward and business partner to clients, with at least 3 years delivering and managing social or integrated marketing work within an agency environment
- Deep, demonstrated understanding of the social space, including organic strategy, platform behavior, community, and culture
- Experience working within an integrated account team model
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a social account with minimal supervision
- Comfort capturing content on the ground at events, and willingness to travel as needed
- Success presenting strategic solutions and POVs that engage consumers and build brands in social, with the broader marketing landscape in mind
- Innate curiosity and entrepreneurship, with the ability to operate both macro and micro, leading strategy and rolling up your sleeves to get the job done
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record of selling cross-disciplinary work
Benefits
The salary band for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. Where a prospective new hire's base salary will fall within this band depends on several factors including their qualifications and experience, the skill level required in the role, market rates, and the salaries of existing crew members at SPCSHP within the same role to maintain equity.
