Responsibilities

- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
- Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
- Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
- New graduates encouraged to apply.
- Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
