About this role

Job Description:

The SRM Pricing Manager reports to the Market SRM Head serving as a key business partner and revenue & profitability expert for the local unit. This position drives the strategic execution of optimized enterprise trade investment frameworks, pricing strategies, and is the key steward of the annual planning and JBP process at the account level.

- Co-pilot development of Pricing Architecture and Strategy with Brand Leadership
- Co-pilot of continuous trade investment productivity improvements and optimized Trade ROI though partnering with Customer Teams

What are we looking for?

- Experience partnering across the organization to analyze a range of internal & external data sources, drawing out key insights and forming recommendations on the basis of solid commercial knowledge and strong linkage to business strategy.
- A track record of successfully translating strategies into action and delivering results; comfortable presenting to and engaging with Sr. Leaders or strategic forums simplifying complex Concepts and Strategies.
- Proven functional/technical understanding and know-how across trade promotions specifically: Promotional Analysis (Critical) – direct experience in, monitoring & analyzing trade promotions, including creation of accurate promotional pre & post evaluations using ROI measures. Scenario planning portfolio trade promotional changes and the levers that can be used to maximize profit and growth.
- Pricing Strategy (Critical) – demonstrated understanding of strategic & operational impacts of pricing decisions across the P&L, both internally & externally (Customer).
- Pricing Analysis (Critical) – direct experience in, monitoring & analyzing price, including creation of models with multiple KPI’s. This includes scenario planning of pricing options and their impact on profit pools/customer margins to develop clear recommendations.
- Promotional Implementation (Preferred) – An understanding of the end to end steps required to deploy a change in trade promotional strategy within a market.
- Promotional Systems/Tools (Preferred)  - Knowledge and experience using analytical models and TPM IT systems for accurate promotional scenario planning and advanced ROI assessments, including their integration with other information management/forecasting systems (e.g., Funds Management and Demand Planning)

- Astute commercial and financial skills with excellent organization agility, understanding the impacts of decisions on the P&L, with the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and ‘can-do’ attitude with strong influencing & problem-solving capabilities; ability to challenge the status quo and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Education: University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a highly analytical/commercial field.

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a blue-chip FMCG/consumer products company with a strong commercial, analytical, or financial background.

SRM Capabilities:

- Pricing Strategy & Analysis (Critical): Demonstrated understanding of the P&L impact of pricing choices on both Mars and retail customers. Experience creating models to scenario-plan pricing moves and margin impacts.
- Promotional Strategy & Analysis (Critical): Direct experience monitoring and evaluating trade promotions, including pre- and post-evaluations using ROI measures.

- Systems & Tools (Preferred): Hands-on experience with TPM IT systems, analytical models, and forecasting tools (e.g., Funds Management, Demand Planning).

- Leadership & Influence: Proven track record of translating complex data into actionable recommendations. Comfortable presenting to and engaging with Senior Leaders to simplify complex commercial strategies.

- Commercial Acumen: Astute financial skills with strong organizational agility, a deep understanding of P&L levers, and a "can-do" attitude toward challenging the status quo.
