CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensures accurate performance of EEG tests as requested by physicians.
- Manages and reviews patient records and interviews patients to obtain additional information.
- Prepares patients for procedure by attaching monitoring devices and explaining test procedures.
- Sets up and calibrates necessary equipment.
- Oversees patients during testing, monitoring patients’ status and recording observations.
- Analyzes test data to ensure appropriate data is collected.
- Reports test results to physicians for further analysis.
- Supervises the maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensures work area is clean, and institutes quality control procedures.
- Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs minor repairs.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
