Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Performance & Reliability Engineer with strong expertise in JMeter , enterprise-scale NFR testing , and modern AI-assisted engineering tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.). The primary focus areas are Performance, Reliability, Scalability, Resilience, and Failover Testing .
Responsibilities
- Define and execute NFR test strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria for enterprise applications.
- Design and perform performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, failover, recovery, and reliability testing.
- Create realistic test data, workloads, and production-like environments for NFR validation.
- Analyze system bottlenecks across applications, databases, infrastructure, and networks, and drive optimization efforts.
- Validate system resilience through failover, disaster recovery, chaos, and recovery testing.
- Integrate automated NFR testing into CI/CD pipelines and leverage AI tools to accelerate test design and analysis.
- Evaluate system performance, availability, latency, throughput, and reliability against defined SLAs/SLOs.
Work Experience
Required Skills
- 6-8 years of experience in Performance Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or NFR Testing.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Apache JMeter .
- Experience defining and implementing NFR test strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of: Performance, Load, Stress, and Endurance Testing
- Reliability, Scalability, Resilience, and Failover Testing
- Capacity Planning and Recovery Testing
- Chaos Engineering
- Experience creating synthetic test data and realistic test environments.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, cloud platforms, and observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, or Prometheus.
- Hands-on exposure to AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT .
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing large-scale platforms such as OTT, collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams), or other high-volume enterprise systems.
- Medical/Healthcare domain experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong learning mindset and passion for Performance & Reliability Engineering.
