About this role
The Monitor Tech monitors patients EKG rhythm patterns on electrocardiograph monitors. Makes note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in rhythms. Ensures that monitors are functioning properly. Relies on established guidelines to accomplish tasks. Works under close supervision.

- High School or equivalent
- Successful completion of the Monitor Tech course within six months
- Communication, Customer Service, computer Skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Able to use monitor equipment.
