About this role
Provides management and leadership in the department. Oversees departmental operations and coordinates clinical activities. Participates in the recruitment and hiring of staff, as well as schedules, supervises, trains, develops and disciplines staff. Assists in development of protocols and performance improvement activities to assess process and outcomes. Performs patient care as necessary.
Education
Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy from Accredited Respiratory Program Required
Bachelor's Degree Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program or related field of study Preferred or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
Experience
5 years experience in Respiratory Care Required
General Experience Previous experience in a leadership/supervisory role in a Critical Patient Care setting Preferred
Licenses
PA Respiratory Care License Required
Reg Respiratory Therapist Required
Basic Life Support Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Preferred
