From your PASSION to ours:
Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Maintenance Planner based in Buffalo, New York.

Summary: As a Maintenance Planner, the role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and preparing maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability, work execution, and plant performance. The role includes maintenance planning and scheduling, preventive maintenance administration, CMMS data management, spare-parts readiness, reliability improvement initiatives, and cross-functional coordination. Additionally, the role collaborates with Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, Engineering, Procurement, and Storeroom teams.

KEY Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop maintenance job plans including labor, parts, tools, safety requirements and work scope.

• Maintain a ready-to-schedule backlog and support weekly maintenance scheduling.

• Review, prioritize and plan maintenance work requests.

• Prepare work packages for shutdowns, outages and planned maintenance activities.

• Create and maintain PMs, job plans, inspection tasks, work orders and BOMs in IBM Maximo.

• Support Root Cause Analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate spare parts, contractor services and materials readiness.

• Monitor PM compliance, schedule compliance, backlog and other maintenance KPIs.

• Ensure safety requirements are incorporated into maintenance work plans.

Requirements

Work conditions:

• Travel is minimal.

• Extended hours may be required during shutdowns, outages, projects, or operational needs. Position requires regular presence in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of maintenance planning, scheduling, maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing experience; food/dairy preferred.

Knowledge:

• IBM Maximo or equivalent CMMS, preventive maintenance, mechanical/electrical maintenance, Excel.

Education and/or Experience :

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Maintenance Technology, Industrial Technology or related field preferred.
