Security Operations  is the team that handles day to day protection of our environment and the tools that support them. This team takes care of identifying security weaknesses and facilitates remediation efforts. Additionally, this team monitors networks to assesses abnormal behaviors and manages security incidents to allow for execution of response processes.

Your Impact

The Lead Cloud Security Analyst is a member of the GISP Security Operations team reporting to the Cloud Security Manager. This hands-on role is responsible for operating and evolving OpenText's Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) capabilities across more than 3,000 cloud accounts and large-scale Kubernetes environments spanning AWS, Azure, GCP, and Sovereign Cloud deployments. The role partners with Cloud Operations, DevOps, and platform engineering teams to strengthen cloud security posture through policy management, workload protection, automation, reporting, and security integrations.

What the role offers:

As a Lead Security Analyst, you will:

- Serve as a subject matter expert for Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP), including CSPM, CWP, CIEM, container security, and cloud governance.
- Operate, maintain, and enhance OpenText's Prisma Cloud and Cortex Cloud platforms across multi-cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Onboard and support cloud accounts, subscriptions, projects, and Kubernetes environments within CNAPP platforms.
- Define, tune, and maintain cloud security policies, controls, alerts, and security guardrails.
- Drive remediation of cloud security findings through collaboration with cloud account owners, DevOps, platform engineering, and infrastructure teams.
- Support the deployment and lifecycle management of workload protection capabilities, including container and Kubernetes security controls.
- Integrate cloud security platforms with DevOps, CI/CD, ticketing, reporting, and security operations processes.
- Provide guidance on cloud security architecture, identity governance, least-privilege principles, and cloud security best practices.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor for cloud security initiatives and platform capabilities.
- Measure and communicate cloud security posture, risk trends, and remediation progress to technical and business stakeholders.
- Influence and support the evolution of OpenText's CNAPP roadmap, cloud security standards, and platform adoption across the organization.
- Automate operational processes, reporting, and security workflows using Python, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

What you need to Succeed:

- BS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, or Information Security preferred.
- 5+ years of cloud security, cloud engineering, security engineering, or related experience supporting AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
- Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, CWP, CWPP, CIEM, or similar cloud security platforms such as Prisma Cloud, Cortex Cloud, Wiz, Orca, Lacework, or Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, containers, Terraform, Helm, Python, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience implementing and assessing security controls supporting PCI DSS, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, IRAP, Protected B, CIS Benchmarks, and NIST frameworks.
- Able to demonstrate clear understanding of current threats to Cloud infrastructure and/or IT infrastructures at technical and managerial levels.
- Strong written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and changing environment while handling multiple tasks, priorities, and directives. Capable of working under pressure.
- CCSP, CISSP, GCP-PCSE, AWS SCS-C02, AZ-500, CKS or other industry certifications preferred.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $110,960.00 - $160,960.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
