Our team, Agentic Creation – Effect Platform nurtures TikTok's global creator ecosystem by covering TikTok creation businesses across the tools, website and TikTok app. We are responsible for creator acquisition, activation, retention and we establish the whole platform with multiple key modules, e.g. rewards, inspiration, activities, analytics and badges, inside the major landing scenarios mentioned above. What's more, we are actively building AI agents along with operation platform and supporting key agentic product iterations to improve operational efficiency and the overall experience in creation. Our team's mission is to become the world's most influential asset creation and expression platform. Currently, the engineering team is fully closed-loop in the US. As a software engineer at TTEP, you will participate in fullstack systems that include large‑scale frontend, backend, big data pipelines and AI Agent infrastructure. You will closely work with product managers, product ops and data scientists on project delivery and make contributions to business metrics, not limited to publish rate, viral supply and creator retention.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross functional teams e.g. product, operation, data science and engineering teams to translate business goals into measurable engineering efforts and deliver the best usability experience for external global creators.
- Deliver high-impact AI agents to support both product and operation requirements for more viral asset supplies. Evolve team's agentic architecture, not limited to agent workflow, MCP servers, knowledge base, evaluation and quality solutions.
- Deliver key creator module iterations, not limited to rewards and analytics system from creator‑facing product flows to the backend services, data warehouse and operations platforms. Guard creator safety and fund security, iterate strategies with product risk control and deliver compliance requirements.
- Participate in backend system upgrades, not limited to evolving service topology, access control governance, metadata management and disaster‑recovery. Improve multi-regional stability, reliability and performance.
