JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assemble patient meal trays according to diet orders and meal tickets
- Set up, stock, and load meal carts for delivery to patient care areas
- Delivers patient meal trays accurately and timely throughout the hospital
- Ensures meal accuracy and compliance with dietary requirements
- Manages multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and reliability
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Follows food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards

Customer Service

- Provides courteous service to patients, families, and staff
- Addresses customer needs and escalates concerns when appropriate
- Demonstrates a positive, service-focused attitude

Communication

- Communicates professionally with patients, families, staff, and care teams
- Shares information accurately to support meal service operations
- Collaborates with team members to ensure efficient meal delivery

Physical Requirements

- Stands and walks for extended periods
- Pushes and maneuvers meal carts throughout the hospital
- Lifts and carries food trays and supplies
- Maintains safety and service standards in a fast-paced environment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
