PAY RANGE :  $28.00-$33.00 | SHIFT :  1 st Shift (7am – 3:30pm) 5 – 8 hour shifts  | TYPE : Onsite

QUICK SUMMARY:
Prototek is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector III to join our manufacturing team. This is a senior-level inspection role for someone who is highly skilled in dimensional inspection, blueprint interpretation, GD&T, and CMM programming and who enjoys working closely with Operations to ensure precision parts meet customer and quality requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : 
- 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a precision manufacturing environment preferred.
- Hands-on experience programming CMMs, not simply operating existing programs.
- Strong blueprint reading and intermediate-to-advanced GD&T / ASME Y14.5 knowledge.
- Experience inspecting machined or fabricated components with tight tolerances.
- Strong understanding of First Article, In-Process, and Final inspection requirements.
- Experience working within an AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality system preferred.
- PC-DMIS, Calypso, Keyence, or similar inspection software/equipment experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to communicate inspection findings effectively.
