Senior Cloud Solution Architect - Data Security

<b>Overview</b><br><div><p>As a Senior Data Security Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), you will help some of our most strategic customers <strong>protect their data and unlock the potential of AI securely and at scale</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>Customers are moving rapidly from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption, making trusted, well-governed and protected data more important than ever. You will work directly with customers to design and deploy solutions using <strong>Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Security</strong>, helping them secure sensitive information, strengthen data governance and reduce risk.</p><p> </p><p>You will combine <strong>deep technical expertise, business understanding and senior stakeholder influence</strong> to build a trusted foundation for Copilot, Agent 365 and agentic AI.</p></div><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><h1>Responsibilities</h1><ul><li>Lead strategic customer engagements that define, design, and accelerate data security and AI security outcomes using Microsoft Purview, and Agent 365.</li><li>Own the technical relationship with customers as a trusted advisor, engaging CISOs, CIOs, CDOs, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Security Operations, and AI teams to align business outcomes with technical architecture.</li><li>Run architecture design sessions, readiness assessments, technical validations, demos, pilots, proofs of concept, and adoption workshops that move customers from strategy to production deployment.</li><li>Help customers secure their AI estate by governing source data, reducing oversharing, improving permission hygiene, applying classification and sensitivity labeling, enforcing DLP, designing monitoring controls, and establishing responsible AI guardrails for Copilot, Agent 365, and agentic AI scenarios.</li><li>Drive end-to-end Microsoft Purview adoption across data discovery, classification, sensitivity labeling, information protection, data loss prevention, insider risk management, communication compliance, eDiscovery, audit, retention, records management, data quality, lineage, and governance operating models.</li><li>Identify and remove technical, organizational, compliance, privacy, and adoption blockers that prevent customers from achieving secure data and AI outcomes.</li><li>Partner across Microsoft account teams, product engineering, FastTrack, Unified, partners, and consulting teams to orchestrate complex customer success motions and scalable delivery patterns.</li><li>Act as the voice of the customer by sharing field insights, product feedback, competitive signals, success stories, blockers, and repeatable patterns with Microsoft engineering, product, and specialist communities.</li><li>Identify opportunities for Security, Compliance, Microsoft 365 Purview, Copilot, Agent 365, Unified, and partner-led growth by connecting technical outcomes to measurable business value.</li><li>Mentor peers and contribute to reusable intellectual property, technical readiness, community leadership, and scalable field guidance for data security, AI security, and Agent 365 adoption.</li></ul><h1>Key customer outcomes</h1><ul><li>Customers understand where sensitive data lives, who has access to it, how it is used, and how it should be governed before AI is scaled.</li><li>Customers deploy Microsoft Purview capabilities that reduce data loss, oversharing, insider risk, compliance exposure, and operational friction.</li><li>Customers adopt Copilot, Agent 365, and agentic AI with clear data security controls, governance processes, monitoring, and accountability.</li><li>Customers mature from point-product deployment to an integrated data security and governance operating model across business, security, compliance, data, and AI teams.</li><li>Customers realize measurable value through adoption, usage, risk reduction, compliance readiness, and trusted AI innovation.</li></ul><br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br><div><h3>Required qualifications</h3><p> </p><ul><li><strong>Strong hands-on Microsoft Purview experience</strong>, particularly across data security, Information Protection, DLP and data governance.</li><li>Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise data security or compliance solutions.</li><li>Strong customer-facing experience, able to lead technical discussions and influence senior stakeholders.</li><li>Good understanding of security, compliance and data governance, including securing data for AI and Copilot adoption.</li><li>Ability to translate technical solutions into clear customer and business outcomes.</li></ul><h3> </h3><h3>Preferred qualifications</h3><p> </p><ul><li>Broader Microsoft Security experience across Microsoft 365, Entra, Defender, Sentinel or Azure.</li><li>Experience helping customers prepare securely for Copilot, AI agents and wider AI adoption.</li><li>Relevant Microsoft Security certifications.</li></ul></div> <br><br><p>Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Netherlands is € 86,300.00 - € 170,800.00 per year.
