Amentum is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) to support the FBI’s Enterprise Vetting Center (EVC). This is a key leadership position responsible for managing and advancing the quality assurance program supporting a high-volume, mission-critical federal vetting operation.

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Amentum’s Quality Control Plan (QCP), working closely with program leadership, operational teams, and FBI stakeholders to ensure services and deliverables consistently meet established quality standards and contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate is a proactive quality professional who can turn performance data into meaningful improvements, identify potential issues before they impact mission performance, and build a culture where quality is embedded in everyday operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead and manage Amentum’s quality assurance and quality control program supporting FBI EVC operations.
- Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of the program’s Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Monitor, track, and analyze quality scores and performance results provided by the Government’s Quality Assurance Unit (QAU).
- Identify trends, recurring issues, performance gaps, and opportunities to improve operational quality and efficiency.
- Translate quality data into actionable recommendations for program leadership and operational teams.
- Lead root-cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
- Monitor corrective actions through completion and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Partner with program managers, supervisors, and operational personnel to integrate quality requirements into daily mission execution.
- Develop and deliver training, coaching, and mentoring on quality standards, processes, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare quality reports, trend analyses, briefings, and other management products for Amentum and Government leadership.
- Communicate quality performance, risks, corrective actions, and recommendations effectively to FBI stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate quality-related risks that could affect contract performance.
- Support Government quality reviews, inspections, assessments, and other quality-related activities.
- Lead and mentor quality personnel while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate existing processes and develop innovative and effective methods for achieving quality and operational objectives.
- Ensure quality activities remain aligned with contract requirements, performance standards, and the FBI’s mission.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or three (3) or more years of hands-on experience applying administrative principles, practices, and techniques.
- Must have an Active Top-Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, quality management, or quality control.
- Experience developing, implementing, and managing Quality Control Plans for large-scale government contracts or complex programs.
- Demonstrated experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting quality metrics and performance data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, evaluate root causes, and develop practical solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify potential quality issues before they become significant problems.
- Experience developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Experience providing training, coaching, and mentoring related to quality and continuous improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Government stakeholders.
- Experience leading or mentoring teams.
- Knowledge of risk management practices and their application to quality and contract performance.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate processes and develop effective methods for accomplishing functional objectives and PWS requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous FBI Enterprise Vetting Center (EVC) experience.
- Experience supporting federal law enforcement, national security, intelligence, personnel security, or other mission-critical government programs.
- Experience working with a Government Quality Assurance Unit or external quality assessment organization.
- Experience supporting high-volume analytical, investigative, vetting, or personnel security operations.
- Experience implementing data-driven continuous improvement programs.
- Familiarity with federal contracting, Government performance standards, and quality management practices.

- This position is performed in a traditional office environment.

Compensation Details:
$100,000 - $105,000
