Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Business Intelligence Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale data warehouse solutions, modern cloud-based data platforms, and business intelligence environments.

This role requires expertise in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT development, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and modern data engineering practices. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and fellow engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data warehouse solutions.
- Build, optimize, and support ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes in Microsoft Fabric .
- Create and manage Fabric Data Engineering workloads including: Data Pipelines
- Dataflows Gen2
- Notebooks
- Lakehouses
- Warehouses

- Design and implement robust dimensional models (Star and Snowflake Schemas) to support reporting and analytics.
- Develop complex T-SQL code including stored procedures, views, functions, and performance optimization.
- Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, reports, dashboards, and DAX measures.
- Develop data engineering solutions using Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing.
- Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement data governance best practices.
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Support operational activities including deployment, monitoring, performance tuning, and production support.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Business Intelligence.
- Extensive experience with: SQL Server
- T-SQL Development
- SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Enterprise Data Warehousing
- Dimensional Modeling

- Strong experience designing: Star Schemas
- Snowflake Schemas
- Fact and Dimension Tables
- Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric: Data Factory
- Data Pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Fabric Certifications.
- Azure Data Engineering experience.
- Experience implementing metadata-driven ingestion frameworks.
- Experience building audit, logging, and monitoring solutions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise analytics platforms.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
