LPN with a Med Pass Certification

TranscendED is seeking a compassionate and conscientious Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our residential treatment facility in Monroe, North Carolina (28110 & 28112).

An LPN with a Med Pass Certification
focuses heavily on the structured, efficient, and safe distribution of routine medications to residents. This is a part-time role for a total of 10 hours each week, possibly suitable for 1-2 LPNs at 2 residential facility locations. Each residence holds up to 6 clients, and functions 24/7 days a week including holidays.

Medication Schedule:

- Monday through Friday (7pm-8pm)

- Saturday and Sunday  (7am-8am & 7pm-8pm)

- Total of 10 hours each week (for 1-2 LPNs to complete)

Responsibilities

- Conduct daily medication administration for up to 6 clients at each residential facility

- Complete nursing notes and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

- MAR management

- Collaborate with the Treatment Team to support holistic care

- Attend weekly interdisciplinary team meeting (30 minutes virtually each Tuesday)

- Provide nursing consultation as needed

- Administer first aid/body checks PRN

- Report to Nursing Supervisor or Residential Supervisor

Qualifications

- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing in North Carolina

- Strong understanding of nursing principles and clinical practices

- Proficient in medication administration and use

- Experience with eating disorder or behavioral health clients is preferred

- Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Credentialing & Physical Requirements

- License: Current, unencumbered state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN).

- Certification: State-approved Medication Certification (Med Pass endorsement)

- Experience: Prior experience performing med passes in residential group settings or facilities is highly preferred.

- Skills: High proficiency with eMAR software, exceptional time-management skills to complete passes within required regulatory windows, and strong communication skills for interacting with residents.

Experience:

- Nursing: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

- North Carolina Nursing Licensure (Required)
