About this role

Intuit is a mission-driven, global financial platform company that gives everyone the opportunity to prosper. We do this by using technology to solve our customers’ most important problems. We serve customers by finding more ways to put more money in their pockets, eliminating work and drudgery so they can focus on their lives and what matters to them, and ensuring that every financial decision that they make, they make it with confidence. We are also at an important point in Intuit’s transformation, as AI and human intelligence reshape both the experiences we deliver for customers and how we operate. Across GBSG, that means making sharper choices about where we invest, how we grow, and how we move with greater speed and focus

As a Group Manager for Commercial Strategy and Operations, you will sit at the center of Commercial Operations, the connective tissue between strategy and execution across the commercial organization, and lead a team of Strategy and Operations managers. You will own the planning rhythm, drive the initiatives that unlock growth and profitability, and turn ambiguous business problems into decisions leadership can act on while setting the priorities, standards, and development path for your team to do the same. Working at the intersection of business strategy, data analysis, and AI-enabled operations, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to commercial leadership and partner closely with finance, marketing, sales, and product to translate priorities into measurable outcomes and to build the operating cadence that keeps them on track. Be part of a high-growth environment where your contributions have direct, visible impact. We are looking for a strategic operator and people leader who is an avid learner, experimenter, and builder, ready to rewire how Commercial Operations runs in the AI era.

Responsibilities

- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of high-performing Strategy and Operations managers. Set clear priorities and quality standards for the team's portfolio, allocate work against the highest-impact opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and innovation.
- Executive Commercial Leadership Partner: Serve as a trusted advisor to the cross-functional commercial leadership team, helping to shape and execute strategy by managing key priorities and ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders. Shape executive decisions by distilling complex analysis and data into clear recommendations, alternatives, and tradeoffs.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute key business initiatives to drive growth and profitability. Own and evolve the quarterly and annual planning process, helping leaders make explicit choices about priorities, investments, tradeoffs, and sequencing. Use AI-assisted tools to compress cycle time and get to decisions faster.
- Performance and Data Analysis: Identify and recommend improvements to processes and systems, guiding the team in in-depth analyses of business performance, market trends, and operational metrics to enhance efficiency and inform strategic decisions. Use AI and automation to expand the scope and speed of analysis, and to automate recurring reporting so effort shifts from data assembly to insight.
- AI Enablement and Velocity: Bring a demonstrated track record of using AI to meaningfully increase personal and team throughput. Champion AI adoption across the team and design changes that address root causes rather than adding another process or layer.

Qualifications

This role demands a blend of analytical prowess, operational expertise, and people leadership skills to drive effective business strategies and operational efficiencies in a complex and evolving environment.

- 9+ years of experience in strategy consulting, business operations, or a related field, ideally with experience in management consulting or large technology companies, including direct people management or formal team leadership experience in a high-growth environment.
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop talent, and to build and lead high-performing teams through ambiguity and change.
- Experience leading multi-year strategy and planning, including long-range planning, annual planning, scenario development, and translating strategy into operating priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and KPI trend analysis. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar for data analysis and automation scripting; experience with no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) a plus.
- Track record of working cross-functionally with product, engineering, data scientists, and marketing channel owners. Understanding of marketing measurement, incrementality testing, and performance metrics.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to develop clear and impactful reports and presentations for stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience influencing and building partnerships across all levels of an organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree such as an MBA preferred.
