Nurse (RN) Manager - Medical/Surgical

Position Summary
- The nurse manager practices in the framework of the mission, vision and values of ECU Health and maintains 24-hour accountability for unit operations.
- The manager is a clinical leader with focus on producing excellent patient outcomes, patient and family engagement, workforce management/ development and clinical efficiency.
- The nurse manager is the front line leader who partners with physicians and manages staff and resources to promote safe, timely, efficient, effective and patient focused unit operations.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or higher

Associate's Degree in Nursing plus five to seven years of related experience required.
Three to four years related experience
Licensure/Registration/Certification: License as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital serves as a campus of ECU Health Medical Center. The 142-bed full-service hospital is located in Washington and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center. It is home to a 16-bed emergency department that serves approximately 25,000 patients per year, as well as the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center – a provider of leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services. ECU Health Beaufort also offers general medical and surgical services, operative services, a womens birthing center, rehabilitation services and outpatient clinics.
