Job Purpose:
- The PT Valet Attendant at SELIG PARKING is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by efficiently and safely parking vehicles for guests. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the valet service, maintaining a professional demeanor, and contributing to a positive experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Safely park and retrieve vehicles, ensuring the security and protection of each vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the valet stand and surrounding parking areas.
- Communicate effectively with guests, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the valet service.
- Assist in managing traffic flow within the parking area to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless service and support during peak times.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and customer service standards.
- Report any incidents or issues with vehicles to management promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing SELIG PARKING positively.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or parking environment.
- Experience in driving and parking various types of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
