About the Role

The Team Lead – Inventory & Print Operations plays a key role in keeping Fulfillment Center operations running smoothly, with a primary focus on inventory accuracy, inventory execution, quality control, and print operations support.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role serves as a floor leader and subject matter expert who understands how inventory, print production, fulfillment, and other warehouse functions work together. The Team Lead monitors operations, identifies barriers, supports associates, and helps ensure work is completed safely, accurately, on time, and to standard.

This role will take ownership of inventory execution within the Fulfillment Center while also providing hands-on support to Print Operations and other areas as needed. The Team Lead will troubleshoot operational issues, help direct labor and workflow, monitor performance, and help execute plans developed by the Leadership team.

What You'll Do
 
### Inventory & Quality

- Own day-to-day inventory execution and help ensure inventory is accurate, organized, and available to support fulfillment and print operations.
- Perform cycle counts, investigate inventory variances, and research root causes of discrepancies.
- Support annual physical inventory and additional inventory audits.
- Monitor key titles to ensure inventory levels and execution align with business needs.
- Review daily sales orders, paid and eFair orders and unfilled orders
- Execute inventory plans developed by Leadership and communicate opportunities or barriers to leadership.
- Support inventory transfers and ensure inventory is properly accounted for throughout the process.
- Assist with semi-annual schematics and other inventory planning initiatives.
 
### Print & Operations Support

- Support Print Operations and other warehouse functions as needed to keep overall production on track.
- Understand how inventory, print, fulfillment, and other operational areas impact one another.
- Monitor workflow across the floor and identify barriers that may affect production, quality, or timelines.
- Step in to support production priorities and help redirect workflow in partnership with Supervisors and the Operations Manager.
- Help ensure associates are on task, on time, and working to established standards.
- Serve as a floor-level point of contact for operational questions and problem solving.
 
## About You

- High school diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, or production experience
- Experience operating lift equipment, such as a cherry picker
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Task-oriented with the ability to prioritize competing needs
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions within established guidelines
- Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods of time
- Able to lift and move materials as required for the role
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

- Mobility and Standing : This position requires the ability to remain standing and moving throughout the shift. Candidates should be comfortable being on their feet for extended periods of time to perform job duties successfully.
- Lifting Requirements : The role involves occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees may be required to safely lift, carry, and maneuver items within this weight range as part of their regular duties.
- Flexibility and Dexterity : Regular activities include bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. These movements are integral to performing tasks associated with the role, such as handling materials, operating machinery, or completing manual tasks.
