Lead Supply Chain Planning Analyst

Overall Purpose

Optimizes supply chain performance through data-driven analysis, strategic planning, and coordination of inventory, demand, and supply planning across multiple suppliers and product categories. Ensures efficient, timely, and cost-effective supply chain operations.

What You’ll Do

- Data Analysis and Forecasting: Conduct data-driven analyses to support inventory, demand, and supply planning. Develop SKU-level demand forecasts and purchase forecasts.
- Inventory Management and Optimization: Develop and implement strategies that maintain appropriate inventory levels, improve inventory turnover, and support efficient inventory distribution.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, production, finance, sales, and other stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with organizational objectives and support seamless operations.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics activities to support the timely and cost-effective distribution of inventory.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that increase supply chain efficiency, improve performance, and reduce costs.
- Strategic Planning: Lead significant projects with a high degree of autonomy and develop long-term plans that affect the broader organization.
- Leadership and Influence: Present recommendations, influence executive-level decisions, and provide guidance or mentorship to less experienced team members.

What You’ll Bring

- Broad and in-depth knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and supplier management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
- Experience developing SKU-level demand and purchase forecasts.
- Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with strategic autonomy.
- Strong supplier relationship management and performance-monitoring skills.
- Effective collaboration, communication, and executive-influencing capabilities.
- Ability to identify and implement long-term process and operational improvements.
- Experience mentoring or providing functional guidance to less experienced professionals.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
- Five or more years of related experience.
- Certification may be required in certain areas.

Supervisory Responsibility

- No direct supervisory responsibility.
- May lead projects and mentor or provide functional guidance to less experienced team members.

Our Lead Supply Chain Planning Analyst jobs earn between $118,800.00 - $178,200.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
