Responsibilities:
- Build Engineer is the owner of Implementation phase for infrastructure projects, after the proposal is approved. They are the “front door” to coordinate all technical tasks and the liaison between the delivery teams and the account/customer team
- Perform physical and virtual server deployment, according to customer standards. Ensure that the settings/parameterizations are in accordance with security and operating rules.
- Be the technical owner of implementation projects, acts as technical coordinator lead and run deploy activities. Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for all technical resources during an implementation project
- Provide technical integration and engage all needed capabilities to implementation requests/projects
- Own the end-to-end commissioning and decommissioning of all configuration items (CI) – promote to operational production
- Plan and Implement changes: servers and services migration tasks.
- Create, reuse and maintain repeatable, automated/scripted, procedural tasks
- Generate periodic technical status reports
Required Skills
- Experience in project implementation: schedule, scope, planning, execution, processes, reports, communication, coordinate technical tasks with other technical teams and vendors.
- Hands on: Windows and Linux server deployment: installation, configuration, administration, support and problem analysis. Migration services. Cluster, Load Balance / High Availability
- Hands on: VMWare (including VCF9) and Hyper-V virtualization
- Hands on: Cloud Azure
- Hands on: Devops, automation, scripts
- Knowledge of ITIL/COBIT management models
- Portuguese (Native or Fluency)
- English: Advanced/Fluency (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
