What you may expect from an Infrastructure Technology Internship with BBH

- Learn how enterprise technology solutions are deployed, operated, monitored, patched, and supported across on-premises and cloud environments
- Work alongside infrastructure and IT engineering teams supporting platforms, systems, applications, and end-user technology
- Gain exposure to Linux, Windows, containers, virtual hypervisors, Microsoft Azure, PowerShell, SCCM administration, and Intune
- Troubleshoot systems and equipment issues, identify root causes, document findings, and recommend solutions
- Support Windows and application security patching across multiple device types
- Explore software automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and consistency
- Build an understanding of IT strategy, technology management, vendor management, service delivery, and operational controls
- Collaborate across infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, and business teams
- Analyze operational information and help create documentation, metrics, presentations, or process improvements

Potential focus areas

- Infrastructure and platform engineering: servers, operating systems, virtualization, containers, and enterprise platforms
- Cloud and endpoint operations: cloud services, devices, software, configuration, and patching at scale
- Technology operations and automation: monitoring, troubleshooting, scripting, documentation, and process improvement
- Vendor and service management: technology strategy, vendor relationships, service delivery, and performance information

What we're looking for

- Current junior in college, entering senior year in fall of 2027 with a background in and passion for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong academic achievement, with a GPA of 3.3 or higher preferred
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Leadership, curiosity, initiative, sound judgment, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Experience or knowledge in the following areas is a plus:

- Windows or Linux operating systems and applications
- Microsoft Azure, virtualization, containers, or endpoint management
- PowerShell, Python, Bash, or another scripting language
- Infrastructure monitoring, vulnerability reporting, or data analysis tools
- IT service management, vendor management, cloud operations, or technology support

Salary Range

$25/hr + sign-on bonus

BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
