News Media Desk Coordinator

The Network News team at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy News Media Desk Coordinator to join our team. This role supports Network News by managing video metadata, archival processes, and media workflows to ensure content is properly organized, accessible, and available for future retrieval across news programming.

ABOUT YOU:

You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a technical and automated systems environment. You can make quick decisions, follow established workflows, and communicate clearly while supporting producers and newsroom teams in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

- Use iNews to transfer metadata from rundowns to the PAM archival system.
- Ingest video codes and prepare media for the editing and archival process.
- Create sequences in Avid Media Composer to support media consolidation and archiving.
- Enter and maintain accurate metadata for all video content.
- Collaborate with producers by providing creative input and support for show content.
- Ensure media workflows are accurate, organized, and completed within deadlines.

YOU HAVE:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework or training in broadcast media, journalism, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of video editing or media management preferred.
- Familiarity with Avid Media Composer, iNews, or similar systems is a plus.
- Experience with metadata entry and media archival workflows is a plus.
- General knowledge of current events and news programming.
- Ability to learn new systems, follow workflows, and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal.
