Northrop Grumman Financial Service Center is seeking a qualified candidates for a Cash Management Analyst 1 position in Irving, TX. The position is reporting to the Manager of Cash Management. This position will utilize SAP to support incoming payment processing in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), company policies and procedures, disclosure statements, and applicable government regulations. The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts, be able to communicate accounting policies and procedures and show strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. A successful candidate will have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi‑task in a metric‑driven environment. The selected candidate will also work with their team to ensure strong processes and controls are in place and provides value added services to business.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process incoming cash receipts, lockbox payments, check deposits, AR refunds, write‑offs, and intercompany cash transfers
- Maintain AR reporting and reconcile GL cash accounts
- Research and resolve unidentified receipts in coordination with the bank and/or customer
- Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing activities
- Respond to internal and external audit inquiries related to AR journal entries and cash activity
- Respond to cash receipts inquiries, and process incoming checks and web tickets
- Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives as appropriate
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field; or 4 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- SAP experience
- Experience in a shared services environment
- Coursework or training in financial accounting
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of accounting and cash controls
- Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, and ServiceNow
Primary Level Salary Range: $54,700.00 - $82,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
