Parsons is seeking an experienced Security Task Lead (STL) to provide overall management, leadership, and oversight of contractor-performed security activities in support of a mission-critical Federal Government program.

The Security Task Lead will serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating Government and Contractor communications and will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned activities are performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement, applicable contract requirements, industry best practices, and established security standards.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and collaborative security leader who can manage complex program activities, coordinate contractor and subcontractor personnel, monitor performance, identify risks, and make timely decisions in support of mission and contractual objectives.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Provide overall management and oversight of all activities performed by Contractor and subcontractor personnel in support of the security program.
- Serve as the primary Contractor point of contact for Government communications concerning assigned security activities.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between Government representatives, Contractor personnel, subcontractors, and other program stakeholders.
- Ensure that all security tasks and deliverables are completed in accordance with the applicable PWS, contract requirements, policies, procedures, and established schedules.
- Establish and maintain processes to track, document, and monitor requirements, activities, deliverables, risks, issues, and performance.
- Apply industry-best standards, proven management methodologies, and appropriate performance-monitoring practices.
- Provide the Government with visibility into task status, performance, resource requirements, risks, and potential limitations.
- Monitor the quality, efficiency, timeliness, and effectiveness of Contractor performance.
- Review work products, deliverables, reports, and task execution for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Coordinate the activities of security personnel and ensure that resources are aligned with program priorities.
- Identify potential contractual, programmatic, staffing, schedule, technical, or resource issues before they affect mission performance.
- Proactively notify the Government of emerging risks, concerns, dependencies, or limitations.
- Develop and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies when performance or resource issues arise.
- Make decisions on behalf of the Contractor organization in response to Government issues, concerns, questions, and comments.
- Exercise the authority to commit the prime Contractor’s organization within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
- Assist the Government with applicable financial, business, planning, reporting, and administrative processes associated with the PWS, excluding inherently governmental functions.
- Support program reviews, status meetings, performance assessments, and customer briefings.
- Maintain accurate records of requirements, task activities, decisions, actions, risks, and deliverable status.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and security excellence.
- Ensure that Contractor and subcontractor activities remain coordinated, compliant, and aligned with customer objectives.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

- Eligibility for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information TS/SCI clearance .
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification SFPC .
- BS degree in related field and 10+ years related experience
- At least three years of experience within the last ten years managing a security program of similar size and complexity to the applicable PWS.
- Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing security personnel, contractors, subcontractors, or mission-support teams.
- Experience serving as a primary point of contact between a contractor organization and a Government customer.
- Experience tracking and documenting requirements, activities, deliverables, risks, issues, and performance.
- Ability to assess programmatic and resource limitations and communicate potential impacts proactively.
- Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions and commit organizational resources within delegated authority.
- Strong knowledge of security-program management principles, operational oversight, and performance monitoring.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and present clear status updates, risk reports, performance information, and recommendations.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, mission-focused environment.
- Ability to work effectively with Government stakeholders, Contractor personnel, subcontractors, and technical subject-matter experts.

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
