Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will play a crucial role in supporting a growing project backlog and upcoming product launches. This position requires working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team to implement engineering changes, update CAD models and documentation, develop tooling and fixtures, and contribute to production improvements. The role is initially offered on a contract basis for 6-12 months, with potential for long-term conversion based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to support engineering changes.
- Update CAD models and documentation as needed.
- Develop and refine tooling and fixtures to enhance production efficiency.
- Assist in the improvement of production processes.
- Support new product launches and manage the manufacturing backlog.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in assembly, tooling, or fabrication.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering and process improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and production teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
- Experience in mechanical and electromechanical assembly.
Work Environment
The work environment is a dynamic manufacturing facility that includes a mix of office, engineering, and production floor responsibilities. The role involves collaborative interaction with engineering, production, and maintenance teams, providing exposure to engineering, manufacturing, and product development projects.

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $44.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
