Manager, IT - ERP Master Data Products at a glance... Functional Role : Finance Product Owner Location : Toronto, ON Hybrid : 3 days/week
The Finance Product Owner leads application development and support for Finance Master Data Governance solutions, with primary accountability for MDG-F objects including GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, and hierarchies. This role partners across Global Data, Global Business Services, Controllers, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver stable, scalable, and business-aligned master data solutions. The role also supports integration between regional ERPs and the Central Finance landscape, strengthens governance and replication controls, and drives practical solutions that improve master data quality, process efficiency, and business adoption.
What’s on the menu?  
- Own development, enhancement, and support of MDG-F workflow solutions for GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, and hierarchies
- Drive design and implementation of tools and workflow improvements that strengthen Finance master data architecture and support evolving business needs
- Support integration of Global Finance master data between regional ERPs and the Central Finance instance
- Ensure accurate master data mapping, replication, and validation across source systems and Central Finance
- Partner with business and functional teams to gather requirements, assess fit-gap, and translate needs into KDDs and WRICEF recommendations
- Lead and facilitate solutioning workshops with Global Data, Global Business Services, Controllers, and other key stakeholders
- Support business process improvement for SAP and non-SAP enterprise data changes through close cross-functional collaboration
- Contribute to data governance, policy definition, process standardization, and enterprise MDM solution adoption
- Support incident resolution and operational stability through structured support disciplines and ServiceNow processes

- 5–7 years supporting or leading Finance Master Data Governance solutions in SAP environments (MDG-F)
- Experience with MDG-F objects (GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, hierarchies) and SAP MDG data models (Flex or Reuse mode enhancements)
- Experience in business process definition, blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and data modeling
- Full lifecycle data migration experience (requirements, mapping, build, testing, training documentation, go-live, post-go-live support)
- Experience integrating Finance master data between regional ERPs and Central Finance, including key/value/cost object mapping for replication
- Hands-on knowledge of rule-based workflow, BRF+, decision tables, HANA Search, duplicate checks, and DRFOUT framework
- Experience transforming Finance processes and implementing governance-led enterprise data solutions; strong focus on governance, control, data quality, and scalable delivery
- Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and business-to-technical translation skills; ability to operate across global, regional, business, and technical teams
- Hands-on exposure to SAP MDG preferred; Oracle DRM or Collibra is an advantage
- Familiarity with industry-standard processes and relevant regulatory requirements preferred
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow and incident management disciplines
- Functional process knowledge in one or more domains: Finance, OTC, Supply Chain, Logistics, PLM, Commercialization, Marketing/e-commerce, governance, or analytics

New Hire Base Salary Range: $96,200.00 - $120,200.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
