Data Governance Analyst – Technical

Job Description We are seeking a technically-minded Data Governance Analyst to drive the execution of our data quality and metadata management activities. This role focuses on the technical implementation within Collibra and the hands-on application of data quality tools to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Collibra Management: Handle the technical administration and maintenance of the Collibra environment, including asset ingestion and metadata mapping.
- Data Quality Execution: Perform deep-dive data profiling and analysis using tools such as Collibra , Attacama or Anomalo .
- Rule Implementation: Technical execution of data quality rules and monitoring processes to identify and mitigate data issues.
- Profiling & Reporting: Conduct regular data quality assessments and generate technical reports on metrics and trends for the Specialists.
- Technical Documentation: Build and maintain technical asset diagrams and metadata lineages.
- Incident Support: Provide technical support for data incident management, identifying the root cause of data quality failures.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: 4 years of experience in technical data management, data governance tooling, metadata management, or enterprise data platforms.
- Skills: Strong SQL skills and experience with data profiling tools.
- Technical familiarity with Collibra (ingestion, attribute mapping, and technical metadata).
- Hands-on experience with at least one major DQ tool (Attacama, Collibra, Anomalo).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- API Integration experience.
- Experience with cloud data environments (AWS/Azure).
- Certification in a specific Data Quality tool.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
