Summary

The team is seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to join as a Specialist, Business Strategy Executive Support. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong judgment, attention to detail, and an interest in business strategy and executive-level communications.

In this role, you will support senior leadership by coordinating Board and executive materials, helping to advance strategic priorities, and ensuring effective follow-through on key business activities. You will work closely with leaders and cross-functional partners to gather information, develop clear and polished presentations, organize leadership forums, and keep important deliverables moving forward.

As a management professional, you will bring strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills, along with curiosity and a willingness to learn. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to senior leadership, governance, strategic planning, and cross-functional initiatives while providing practical executive support.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the development of Board, executive, and governance presentations, including managing timelines, consolidating input, and ensuring materials are accurate, clear, and delivered on time.
- Prepare and refine executive-ready presentations, briefing notes, business updates, meeting materials, and other communications.
- Support the planning, coordination, and tracking of strategic priorities, initiatives, milestones, decisions, and action items.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, identify outstanding items, and support timely follow-through on commitments.
- Organize leadership and governance meetings, including agendas, pre-read materials, meeting notes, and action tracking.
- Conduct research and basic analysis to support presentations, business discussions, and special projects.
- Maintain trackers, status updates, calendars, and reporting tools that provide visibility into key priorities and deliverables.
- Provide day-to-day executive support, including calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Identify practical opportunities to improve the preparation of materials, meeting effectiveness, coordination, and ways of working.

Critical Qualifications

- Postsecondary education in business administration, communications, finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in an executive support, business coordination, project coordination, communications, or similar role.
- Experience preparing presentations, reports, briefing notes, or communications for leaders or senior audiences.
- Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to turn information from multiple sources into clear, concise, and visually polished materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfort working with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders in a professional and collaborative manner.
- Good judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Experience supporting Board, governance, or executive leadership activities is considered an asset.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in evolving or less structured environments, with the ability to turn high-level direction into clear actions and deliverables.
