SUMMARY: The Hillsboro Factory is seeking a Production Control Manager to lead a team of 6 non-exempt Production Control Support staff. The Production Control Manager will work a Mon to Fri standard shift schedule, and report to the Director of Manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct the work of the Production Control Team, including but not limited to:

- Executing weekly starts plan

- Managing Fab consumables

- Coordinating route changes with Engineering special requests for product handling

- Maintaining Fab Test Wafer inventory

- Own administrative tasks, development, and coaching for all employees

- Managing the loading of the Hillsboro Fab for customers and internal engineering experiments

- Works with Demand Planning on maintaining starts rate, NPI (New Product Introduction), and applying priority lot status for select customers at Planning’s request

- Maintains reporting for production cycle times across various technologies and is owner for NPI cycle time.

- Owns Manufacturing Consumables, including inventory management, cost control, and Purchase Order management

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS/BA degree in Management/Business, Engineering, or similar.

- Minimum 8 years experience in semiconductor/manufacturing production environment.

- Minimum 2-5 years management experience in a semiconductor/manufacturing production environment.

- Must be able to successfully work within a team environment.

- Results-oriented and requires little supervision and direction.

- Demonstrated skill and success in managing operations in a high-tech environment is preferred.

- Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives, and policies of the company, and have excellent time management and organization skills.

- Must have excellent management skills and experience coaching direct employees for success.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks.

- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based software.
