Who we're looking for:

Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager - Decision Support, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist with analysis, modeling and decision-making support for the consumer wireless organization while interacting with various cross functional teams including Sales, Strategy, Corporate Real Estate, Pricing, Product Management, Controller's Group, Legal and Human Resources.

This role is key to supporting the strategic vision of the business by providing financial analysis for all consumer wireless decisions. The candidate will be involved in complex business cases and analysis that will support the business with strategic decisions within the marketing, sales and retail environment.

What you'll be doing:

- Support the consumer wireless organization by providing financial analysis on all strategic decisions including sales channel operations, sales compensation, and capital projects

- Complete post implementation reviews for all projects, business cases, and decisions

- Support management in development of analyses and recommendations to support the business

- Ad hoc as required

What you bring:

- Previous experience working in an accounting firm is preferred (2-3 years experience)

- Advanced Excel skills are a requirement

- Strong interpersonal skills and ease with communicating with various levels in the organization

- Highly advanced analytical skills and detailed oriented

- Strong time management, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and objectives and prioritize effectively to meet timelines

- A self-starter that is keen to learn about Rogers and the retail portfolio

- Strong team skills, but ability to work independently

- Able to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations, adjusting easily to a change in job demands

- Telecom, SQL and PowerPoint experience are assets

- An accounting designation (CPA) completed or in progress, MBA an asset

- Knowledge of Essbase is an asset
