Do you enjoy operating equipment, working outdoors, and seeing the direct impact of your work every day? As a Feedlot Equipment Operator, you'll play an important role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-managed feedlot operation. From operating loaders and tractors to improving cattle pen conditions and supporting infrastructure projects, you'll help keep our operation running smoothly while working with a team that values safety, reliability, and hard work.
Whether you already have equipment experience or are looking to grow your skills in agriculture, we'll provide hands-on training and opportunities to learn and develop.
What You'll Do
- Operate a variety of equipment, including tractors, loaders, bulldozers, and dump trucks, to support daily feedlot operations.
- Help maintain livestock pens by leveling, bedding, and preparing pens to promote cattle comfort and well-being.
- Load, haul, and remove manure to support a clean and efficient operation.
- Assist with feedlot improvement, maintenance, and construction projects.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance, including fueling, checking fluid levels, and greasing equipment.
- Work closely with maintenance personnel to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
- Follow established safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Support other operational needs and projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Previous equipment operating experience preferred.
- Experience working around livestock is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and develop equipment operating skills.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal, written, and visual instructions.
- Valid driver's license required.

Physical & Work Environment
This is a physically active position requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in outdoor conditions year-round. Employees work around heavy equipment, livestock, dust, mud, noise, and changing weather conditions while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.
