THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR A-LEVEL DIESEL FLEET TECHNICIAN
THE SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position working 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some rotating Saturdays . No nights and no on-call responsibilities .
YOUR ROLE:
As our A-Level Diesel Fleet Technician, you'll split your time between the shop and a mobile service truck, giving you the opportunity to work on a wide variety of medium- and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. You'll trace fault codes through ECM, ABS, and PIM systems, diagnose aftertreatment concerns, troubleshoot electrical and air brake issues, and perform repairs that keep fleets moving. You'll use Autel and OEM software to identify root causes, document clear repair stories in Shopmonkey, support fellow technicians with your expertise, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while delivering repairs customers can trust.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of hands-on diesel, fleet, or commercial truck repair experience
- Strong diagnostic skills involving electrical, ECM, ABS, PIM, aftertreatment, and air brake systems
- Professional-grade hand tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes some Saturdays
A current CDL, SE Medium/Heavy Truck (T-Series) certifications, Air Brake Inspector qualification, and experience with Cummins, Isuzu, Freightliner, or Allison equipment are preferred.
