About this role
Description
Amazon Access is Amazon's co-branded credit card program in Mexico, operated in partnership with Invex, one of Mexico's leading financial institutions. We are building the financial product that enables millions of Mexican customers to access credit, shop on Amazon, and engage with a rewards ecosystem - all within a highly regulated fintech environment.
We are looking for a Program Manager III to own and drive critical workstreams across regulatory influence, payment performance, financial modeling, customer analytics, and operational automation. This role sits at the intersection of product, finance, data, and external partner management, requiring someone who can translate complex data into actionable strategy, influence partners and regulators without formal authority, and deliver measurable business outcomes. You will work directly with Amazon, Invex, payment processors (PROSA), and external partners (Mastercard) to solve high-impact problems end-to-end. SQL proficiency and data analytics are foundational requirements - you will build analytical frameworks, write queries, design dashboards, and use data to drive every decision.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end program delivery across payment performance, customer acquisition, engagement analytics, and operational automation workstreams for Amazon Access Mexico.
Build and maintain analytical frameworks using SQL, QuickSight, and GenAI tools to diagnose business problems, quantify impact, and inform strategy - including cohort segmentation, funnel analysis, and customer persona targeting.
Influence external partners (Invex, PROSA, Mastercard) and regulators (CNBV) via evidence-based analysis and persistent engagement to drive outcomes without formal authority.
Design financial models, unit economics frameworks, and attribution methodologies to evaluate program sustainability and inform funding decisions.
Identify and execute automation opportunities that eliminate manual operational burden across Finance, Accounting, Product, and FinOps teams.
Monitor and recover key payment metrics (PSR, ASR, Share of Wallet) via root cause analysis, transaction-level diagnostics, and cross-company coordination.
Translate complex data into stakeholder-compelling narratives for senior leadership, supporting WBR/MBR/QBR cycles and strategic planning (OP1/OP2).
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Finance, BI, and external partners to deliver against the Amazon Access roadmap.
A day in the life
In this role, you shape the financial product that brings credit access to millions of customers in Mexico. One morning you build the evidence case that convinces a banking regulator to change policy - the next, you diagnose a payment authorization anomaly across three companies and drive the fix before it impacts customers. You design the financial architecture behind a rewards program, model its unit economics, and present the go/no-go recommendation to leadership. You write SQL to uncover why acquisition spiked during a High Value Event, then turn that insight into the strategy for the next one. No two days look the same because you own the full spectrum - from regulatory influence and partner negotiation to data analysis and automation design. This is a role where analytical rigor directly translates into business impact at scale, and where you operate with the autonomy of a founder inside one of the world's most customer-obsessed companies.
