About the role
Turner & Townsend is looking an experienced Construction Manager, Project Coordinator, ORPM, CSF, PCG to work alongside our key client's large scale, ground-up commercial real estate construction project. The role will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, from inception through to commissioning.
What you'll do
- Coordinate daily project activities between clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors to support successful project delivery.
- Monitor construction progress, schedule milestones, and project deliverables, identifying and escalating potential risks or delays.
- Review construction documents, drawings, RFIs, and submittals to support project compliance and constructability.
- Assist with procurement activities, including contractor coordination, long-lead equipment tracking, and vendor follow-up.
- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely project data.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities, quality standards, safety compliance, and project progress.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and maintain communication among stakeholders.
- Support risk management, issue resolution, and change management processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with commissioning, inspections, punch-list management, and project closeout activities.
- Ensure project documentation is properly maintained and uploaded within designated document management systems.
- Collaborate with cost, scheduling, and project controls teams to provide accurate project status reporting and dashboard updates.
- Promote adherence to health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout all phases of construction.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years’ project management experience.
- Degree in Construction management or Equivalent and OSHA certified.
- Proficient – expert experience level using Microsoft tools (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to lead, coordinate & organize multiple stakeholders including general contractor and deliver project/program status reports as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions.
- Develops good working relationships with project team.
- Ability to work on site.
