Job Summary:

The Director, Operations oversees office administration and operational support to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant business operations. This role leads administrative teams, manages facilities and workplace services, improves operational processes, and provides strategic support to executive leadership while fostering a productive, organized, and safe working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supermicro would like to hire a (Sr.) Director, Operation in Malaysia oversee the FA, GA and EHS team in SMC MY sites.

- Overseeing the FA, GA and EHS operation in Malaysia site;

- Supervising, mentoring, training, and coaching the staff and delegating assignments to ensure maximum productivity.

- Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance, regular facilities inspections and life-cycle requirements

- Coordinate intra-office moves, allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency

- Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment

- Overseeing and directing all construction projects, including reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

- Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

- Overseeing the general affair related, including canteen, cleaning, dormitory and other related;

- Coordinating domestic and international travel, including flight, hotel, and car rental reservations.

- Purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels.

- Responsible for Occupational Safety and Environmental safety related matters。

- Prepare and track the budget, monitor expenses and payments.

- Other jobs assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred; candidates with relevant certifications and substantial experience will also be considered.

- Preferably 15+ years of experience in Facility management or Office Management and 8+ years of experience in a managerial position.

- Around 5 years as a senior manager in FA or GA.

- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

- Worked in an MNC company will be a plus.
