About this role
We are looking for a talented School to Work – Manufacturing ( Housing Fabrication Welding and Machining ) person to join our 1st Shift team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC .
*This position will be on-site in Fletcher, NC .
This is an onsite role to assist the Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems plant Housing Fabrication Welding and Machining team with a variety of projects, including bracket welding housings, seam welding housings, and weld repair.

• Continuous Improvement : Actively participating in continuous improvement activities and TPM teams helps improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow.
• Ensure Safety : By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you help maintain a safe working environment.
• Compliance and Reporting : Reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards ensures compliance with HSE standards and promotes a culture of safety.
Experience
• Request that successful candidate work a routine schedule up to the STW limit of up to 40 hours per week. There is room for flexibility when needed.
• Successful applicant will be working onsite 1st shift hours supporting Manufacturing Housing Fabrication Welding and Machining at the CDBS in Fletcher, NC.
Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr
