- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 9am to 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm with Wednesdays off
- Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

What does a Lot Attendant do?
Our Lot Attendants help keep the Sales department organized, efficient, and ready to serve customers. You’ll have an important role in managing our vehicle inventory and supporting the Sales team throughout the sales and delivery process.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Check in new vehicles as they arrive at the dealership, verify vehicle information, inspect for damage, and assist with the stocking process
- Organize and maintain vehicle inventory across our main sales lot, showroom, and remote storage lots
- Keep vehicle displays neat, professional, properly signed, and ready for customers
- Move vehicles throughout the dealership and between lots as needed
- Help ensure sold vehicles are ready and in the proper location for customer delivery
- Assist the Sales team with vehicle preparation, locating inventory, fueling vehicles, and other day-to-day needs
- Assist with dealer-to-dealer vehicle trades and transportation when needed
- Support dealership promotions, sales events, and other special activities
- Help maximize available lot space and maintain an organized inventory
- Assist with seasonal lot needs, including snow removal and general lot maintenance
- Perform other Sales department and dealership-related duties as needed
You Must...
- Be motivated with a positive attitude

- Be flexible and a good communicator
- Be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to drive a stick shift preferred but not required

JOB DESCRIPTION -
POSITION SUMMARY
The Lot Attendant supports the day-to-day operation of the Sales department by receiving, organizing, maintaining, and moving dealership vehicle inventory.
This is a hands-on, entry-level automotive position that works closely with the Sales team and interacts with several areas of dealership operations. The position provides valuable exposure to inventory management, vehicle merchandising, sales operations, customer deliveries, Service, and other dealership functions.
The Lot Attendant plays an important role in making sure our inventory is accurately received, professionally displayed, easily accessible, and ready for both customers and the Sales team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lot Attendant is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. This list is not necessarily an exhaustive description of all responsibilities associated with the position.
- Receive and check in new vehicles delivered to the dealership
- Compare vehicle identification numbers and incoming inventory against dealership records and delivery documentation
- Verify vehicle equipment and accessories when vehicles arrive
- Inspect incoming vehicles for visible damage or missing items and properly document any concerns
- Assist with stocking vehicles into dealership inventory
- Park and organize vehicles in designated inventory areas
- Maintain an orderly and professional presentation of vehicles on the main sales lot, showroom, and remote inventory lots
- Ensure vehicles have appropriate dealership signage, plate frames, and other required display materials
- Move and retrieve vehicles for Sales staff and dealership operations as needed
- Assist with preparing sold vehicles for customer delivery by ensuring vehicles are properly located, fueled, and ready for the Sales team
- Transport vehicles between dealership locations and assist with dealer trades when necessary
- Assist the Sales department with inventory-related tasks, promotions, sales events, and other dealership activities
- Maintain efficient use of available lot and storage space
- Assist with general lot upkeep and seasonal responsibilities, including snow removal when necessary
- Communicate inventory concerns, vehicle damage, or operational issues to management
- Work cooperatively with Sales, Service, and other dealership departments
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as business needs require

WORK SCHEDULE
Full time employees are regularly scheduled for 40 hours within the confines of our operating hours. Part time employees are regularly scheduled for anything less than 40 hours. Overtime as needed and approved by the manager. All employees are required to take meal breaks in accordance with New York state law.
