Requirements:

The ideal candidates must:

- Be studying Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

- Must be a rising junior or senior enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, graduating in 2027 or having graduated in 2026

- Authorization to work in U.S. and territories

- Have a GPA of 3.00 or more

- Hava availability to work full-time for 10 weeks during summer

Majors:

Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.

Other Qualifications

- Previous internship programming and coding experience is preferred.

- Excellent communication skills and proficiency of the English and Spanish language, both oral and written.

- Excellent interpersonal relationships, and ability to work and interact with different teams to collaborate with other business units.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Being driven and curious to understand and solve complex problems is a must.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Must have worked at least 18 months in the current position and as a Popular regular employee.

- Must have received an Overall Rating of Effective or higher in their most recent performance evaluation. Employees with an Overall Rating of Partially Met or Not Met will not be considered. As part of the internal application review, Talent Acquisition will also consider any individual goals and/or organizational values marked as Partially Met or Not Met, to assess their relevance to the role being applied for.

- Must be free of written disciplinary actions during the last year. Disciplinary actions received during the evaluation period for the internal vacancy will be considered in determining your eligibility.
