About this role
Senior Data Warehouse and Analytics Developer who can design, develop, optimize, and implement robust data models and analytical solutions in complex enterprise environments. The primary focus will be leveraging SAP HANA 2.0 XSA, Native HANA, SAP Datasphere, Snowflake, Tableau, and related technologies to translate complex functional and technical requirements into scalable, high-performing solutions. The Senior Data Engineer will support the full software development lifecycle, including data modeling, development, testing, CI/CD, deployment, hypercare, and production support, while ensuring best practices in performance tuning, security, and solution quality.
This role requires strong expertise in SQL Script, stored procedures, table functions, data loads, calculation views, and table design, as well as hands-on experience with model optimization, PlanViz, and performance tuning. The candidate should be familiar with SDA, SDI, SLT, Git-based development practices, and SAP Web IDE. Experience with XSA and database security concepts such as roles and privileges is expected. Exposure to technologies such as XSOData, XSJS, SAPUI5, Gateway, Fiori deployment, Node.js, JavaScript, SAP BW or BW/4HANA, ABAP, SAP as a source system, and Tableau will be considered an advantage.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and result-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. They should be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Qualifications
- Experience in SAP HANA implementation
- Strong preference for SAP HANA 2.0 XSA implementation experience
- Strong experience working with data models and processes in SAP S/4 Financials(FI-GL, FI-AP, FICA etc).
- Strong expertise in SQL Script, stored procedures, table functions, calculation views, and data modeling
- Experience in model optimization, PlanViz, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with SDA, SDI, and SLT concepts
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and Git-based development in SAP Web IDE
- Knowledge of XSA and database security concepts, including roles and privileges
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience with Node.js, JavaScript, SAP BW or BW/4HANA, ABAP, SAP ECC, Tableau, or complex data migration projects is a plus.
- AI agentic development practical experience (Claude Code, Windsurf, Cursor, Codex) is a plus
