Summary of Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and optimize production technologies and parameters for WC-Co powder processing, specifically focusing on incoming powder inspection, ball milling, spray drying, pressing, and extrusion.
2. Lead new product and process transitions from technology/R&D scale to full-scale manufacturing.
3. Provide continuous improvement for powder and forming operations.
4. Work with equipment vendors and external research institutes to jointly develop next-generation powder processing technologies, and work closely with manufacturing to provide technical solutions for production issues and customer quality complaints.
5. Partner with commercial teams to provide sales support, analyzing technical requirements to design and deliver tailored customer solutions for emerging application needs.
6. Lead new product and process transfers from other manufacturing sites to full scale manufacturing in Tianjin

Qualifications
• PhD or Master’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Chemistry with a clear specialization in powder metallurgy, cemented carbide (WC-Co), or hardmetals. A few years working experience are required.
• Excellent domain knowledge and solid hands-on experience in tungsten carbide powder processing, including powder inspection/characterization, spray drying, ball milling, pressing, and extrusion.
• Strong expertise in WC powder/part characterizations and analyses, with hands-on experience in metallurgical image analysis for microstructure, phase and porosity, magnetic properties (MS, HC), mechanical properties (hardness, toughness, TRS, K1c), elemental analysis (C, S, O, N, H), physical testing (FSSS, tap density, slurry rheology), etc.
• Good oral and written technical communications skills in Chinese and English, CET-4 or above.
