What we offer:

- Independent definition and implementation of a global strategy for Commodity Groups 6 (Raw Materials) and 7 (Machined Parts), as well as functional leadership of strategic sourcing activities worldwide

- Proactive analysis and optimization of the assigned commodity group, acting as a specialist for innovative trends and market developments

- Responsibility for designing and maintaining a stable, cost-efficient supply chain and supplier network

- Alignment of purchasing objectives with internal stakeholders to identify and realize cost-saving opportunities

- Ensuring successful project execution in cooperation with other purchasing departments

- Establishing and further developing supplier relationshipsServing as the key interface for communication with international suppliers

What we are looking for:

- Completed degree with a business-related qualification

- Extensive expertise in strategic procurement within the mechanical engineering industry or in the sourcing of custom applications and complex products

- Strong technical understanding and proven ability to work with technical specifications and engineering drawings

- In-depth knowledge of steel, castings, and materials engineering

- Strong affinity for working with international stakeholders and suppliers, particularly in Asia, Southern Europe, and Eastern Europe

- Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, as well as proficient in standard software applications (SAP R/3, MS Office)

- Strong negotiation skills combined with a professional, confident, and persuasive manner

- Team-oriented, highly committed, creative, proactive, and willing to travel
