In this role, you will:

- Client Portfolio Management: Manage and develop high-net-worth client portfolios, delivering comprehensive banking solutions and facilitating a broad range of transactions through the promotion of suitable products and services.
- Relationship Development: Establish, strengthen and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted point of contact for their banking needs.
- Revenue and Asset Growth: Drive portfolio revenue, Assets Under Management (AUM) and net new money (NNM) inflows by leveraging the HSBC brand, distribution channels and Relationship Manager (RM) network.
- Client-Centric Solutions: Understand client objectives and recommend appropriate products and solutions, ensuring clients have a clear understanding of associated risks and potential outcomes.
- Account and Transaction Support: Review account and transaction records to investigate basic discrepancies, respond to client queries and provide accurate documentation relating to client activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal bank departments to uphold HSBC’s internal control standards and support the timely resolution of internal audit findings, external audit points and matters raised by regulators.
- Risk and Compliance Management: Proactively monitor and follow up on risk and compliance requirements, including CCR, Know Your Customer (KYC), Compliance, Risk Management and Internal Audit requests.
- Governance and Controls: Maintain accurate records, ensure actions are completed within agreed timelines and escalate material issues through the appropriate governance channels.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Demonstrable experience in relationship management with Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients within a private banking environment.
- Proven success in asset acquisition, portfolio growth and revenue generation.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products and wealth management solutions.
- Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) accreditation is mandatory for this role.
- Sound knowledge of macroeconomic, microeconomic and local market developments, and their potential impact on clients and portfolios.
- Compliance with all applicable local regulatory and licensing requirements, including valid wealth management licences and relevant country-specific qualifications.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is preferred.
- Strong financial, numerical and statistical analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into practical client recommendations.
- Exceptional customer service orientation, with a strong focus on building trusted, long-term client relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail, sound judgement and a creative, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- A full-time graduation degree of at least three years is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. For degrees obtained outside the UAE, valid attestations and equivalency are also mandatory.
